The Sabetha Bluejay girls tennis squad continues to be impressive this season with more top performances, this time coming at the Hiawatha Invitational over the weekend a tournament that featured eight teams.
Sabetha featured two teams on the day and both had strong showings, especially in the doubles competitions as it was a one two finish in both doubles competitions on the day. In the doubles number one competition Ellie Montgomery and Amy Wysong took home first place after beating fellow Bluejays Alison and Andrea Rogenkamp. While, Laeny Edelman and Jessica Romines took first in the second doubles competition beating fellow Bluejays Caitlyn Renyer and Jordyn Wells.
The doubles competition with the first and second place sweeps highlighted the day for the Bluejays but the singles competitions weren't without their highlights for Sabetha either as Alexa Menold took first in the second singles competition and Kyla Parton and Jenna Burger both placed fourth in their respective singles competitions, too.
Overall a great day for the Bluejays as their two teams took second and third place overall at the tournament.
