(Falls City) - The Richardson County Board will interview candidates to be considered for appointment as County Treasurer during Tuesday’s meeting. Six people have applied to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Treasurer Connie Kennedy. The interviews are scheduled to last 15 minutes each, beginning at 10:45 a.m.
The applicants include Brian Burns, Michelle Kreifels, Austin Duerfeldt, Jeremy Kirkendall, Martin Gist, and Denise Yoesel.
The Commission meeting begins at 9:00 a.m. The weekly Road and Bridge Department update is scheduled at 9:15.
Commissioners will meet with Russ Newton with Nebraska Machinery Company at ten o’clock to discuss tracking equipment for Road Department machinery.
They will also consider approving the one-percent allowable growth for the next fiscal year, and will set the date and time for a public hearing to set the tax levy.
