(KTNC) - An event that was originally scheduled as part of Falls City’s Cobblestone Festival will be held this weekend. The popular Cobblestone Car Show will be held on Saturday.
The location has also been moved. The show will be held at Country Catering, three miles north of Falls City on Highway 73, with registration beginning at 9:00 a.m.
The car show and other Cobblestone events were rained out on August 25th.
The Cobblestone Parade was also canceled that day. The Falls City Chamber of Commerce is encouraging organizations that built floats that were not seen as a result of the rain to be a part of the Richardson County Fair parades in Humboldt.
Parades will be held at 11 a.m. next Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. For those not wanting to find a place to store their float, or haul it home each day, the Falls City Chamber notes that Falls City marching bands typically participate in the Friday parade.
