(KLZA) Richardson County Commissioners have scheduled a public budget hearing for Tuesday, September 18th at 11 a-m. Board members reviewed the 2012-13 budget proposal when they met Tuesday.
Following review of a planned purchase of a patrol unit, Commissioners also voted to rescind a motion approved April 17th of this year authorizing the purchase of a patrol unit from Gene Steffy Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram of Fremont. A question concerning the dealers authority sell the vehicle per the State of Nebraska established price by the material division of the Nebraska Department of Administrative Services led to the action. The Board then authorized advertising for sealed bids for the purchase of a patrol truck on September 18th. Bids will be opened publicly and reviewed for consideration by the Board of Commissioners.
