(KLZA) The Falls City Rural Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire approximately two miles west of Falls City then south to the bank of the Nemaha River Tuesday afternoon.
Timothy Daniels of Falls City is the owner of a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer that caught on fire and was destroyed. Daniels told the firemen he was checking his game camera in the area and when he got back into the vehicle it was smoking and caught on fire. The vehicle was sitting in a shucked corn field. The cause of the fire was not detectable.
Firemen were on the scene for about an hour.
