The weekend rainfall has prompted local officials to lift the burn ban in Falls City.
The ban on all burning was put in place last month due to the drought conditions.
With the ban lifted, Fire Chief Ken Simpson says Falls City residents can resume outdoor burning. Burning must be done in an appropriate container with a lid, and someone must be present to monitor the fire.
