(KMZA)--A Bern based business earns strong honors for safety which gains the attention of Kansas Governor Sam Brownback.
Lortscher Agri-Service, Inc., through OSHA's Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program which provides incentives and support to small, high hazard employers, is recognized for a well managed and efffective safety and health program.
Brent Lortscher is the President and Project Engineer for the company, which employs between 65 and 70 full time employees(Play Audio)
Because of that success, Governor Brownback awarded the company with a proclamation in its honor, inviting Lortscher, and other representatives to the Kansas Statehouse where the proclamation was formally signed during a Friday morning ceremony(Play Audio)
Due to the SHARP recognition, Lortsher Agri-Service receives a one year exemption from OSHA's General Schedule Inspections, along with a certificate signed by the Assistant Secretary of OSHA.
