( KMZA )--The Nemaha County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an attempted arson at a Wetmore church.
The sheriff’s department took a report Saturday of an attempted arson at St. James Catholic Church located at 306 5th Street.
The sheriff’s office says an unknown suspect threw something on the roof of the church, causing damage by fire.
A damage estimate wasn’t immediately available or any other details.
