(KTNC) - As dry conditions persist, the burn ban remains in effect in Falls City.
Fire Chief Kenny Simpson says Falls City still hasn’t received sufficient rainfall to justify lifting the ban, which covers all burning in town.
The ban prohibits burning brush, yard waste, and barbecue pits. And Simpson says it also includes burning in trash barrels.
Simpson says the burn ban will remain in effect as long as conditions warrant.
