(KLZA) Facing a former Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC) and long-time rival, the Peru State College (PSC) Bobcats will take on the College of St. Mary (CSM) Flames in a scrimmage on Aug. 22. The scrimmage will begin at 5 p.m. in the Al Wheeler Activity Center (AWAC) on the PSC's campus.
The former MCAC foes will not face each other during the regular season for the first time in many years. For first-year Bobcat head coach, Melvin Balogh, it will be an opportunity to see how prepared his 2012 team is before heading into the weekend's opening tournament. The 'Cats will be participating in the Red Raider Classic on Northwestern College's campus in Orange City, Iowa.
