( KMZA ) Charges have been filed against one of three young men suspected of committing a series of crimes in Axtell late last month.
The Marshall County Attorney’s office says Sierra Perry of Marysville has been charged in Marshall County District Court with three counts of burglary, two counts of felony criminal damage to property, one count of misdemeanor criminal damage to property and two counts of misdemeanor theft.
Perry is also charged in a second case with one count each of felony criminal damage to property and misdemeanor criminal damage.
Perry and the other two suspects are accused of breaking into the Axtell School, concession stand at the Axtell ballfields and Peschel’s Food Mart sometime late July 27th or early July 28th.
Perry was arrested July 31st and remains in custody.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says miscellaneous items were taken from the school, and beer and cigarettes from the grocery store. Nothing was taken from the concession stand.
The names of the other two suspects are being withheld until formal charges are filed.
