( KNZA )--The Kansas Department of Transportation says a repair project on four US-36 bridges in Brown County near Hiawatha is be completed by about 5 this
( Thursday ) evening and the bridges will be reopened to traffic ahead of the scheduled completion date.
Work on the projects began June 11th
Bridges, Inc of Newton was the primary contractor on the more than $385,000 project.
The project is funded by T-WORKS, the transportation program passed by the Kansas Legislature in May 2010.
