(KAIR) -- Atchison County Commissioners will hold two non-session public budget workshops with department heads as they begin to crunch numbers for their final budget proposal.
They will take place four, Thursday afternoon and next Tuesday afternoon at the County Commission Room in the Law Enforcement Center in Atchison.
County Commissioner Jeff Schuele says no action will be taken at the non-session workshops.
In Wednesday’s regular meeting, Commissioners met with Road and Bridge Superintendent Matt Dorssom to dissect his proposed budget, which is just under three million dollars.
Earlier this week, a consensus was reached by Commissioners on the direction to take on countywide EMS services.
County Commissioner Jeff Schuele explains.
