The Nemaha Natural Resources District Board of Directors will meet at 8 p-m Thursday evening at the NRD headquarters in Tecumseh.
During the meeting there will be discussion on a well permit application in Otoe County, a request for assistance with the installation of tile drainage west of Adams from Eldon Ideus; and discussion on a supplemental watershed agreement between the NRD and NRCS for continued planning on the Upper Big Nemaha 25C rehabilitation project.
Required changes to the employee retirement plan will be discussed. Amendments to agreements with Nemaha County, Nebraska on upgrading County Road 735 and Avenue 643 as a result of the impact of the Buck Creek Dam near Peru will be reviewed. A contract with Mainelli-Wagner for engineering and design services for the upgrades to those roads will be discussed.
Other agenda items include discussion on bids received to provide cleaning services for the Nemaha NRD office complex in Tecumseh. The purchase of a wood chipper will be discussed as will a request to utilize district office space and the meeting room by 5 Rivers RC&D.
Also during the meeting Board members will review the fiscal year 2013 budget proposal.
The Programs and Projects Committee will meet at 7 p-m; the Executive Committee meets at 6:45 p-m. the Operations and Education Committee will not meet prior to the regular Board meeting.
