During last weeks Humboldt-Table Rock – Steinauer School Board meeting one of the policy changes discussed concerned the one-to-one computer program that provide a laptop computer for each HTRS High School student.
The district just completed the first year of the program and Superintendent Clint Kimbrough said the initial year was pretty smooth. ( play audio :22 )
Kimbrough said very few of the teachers had any qualms about working with the laptop program. ( play audio :30 )
The Superintendent said there weren’t too many problems with technology issues and damage to computers. But he noted that accidents do happen. That includes staff members as well as students. ( play audio :33 seconds )
