Brown Co. School Supply Distribution
( KNZA )--The Brown County NEK-CAP Office will again be providing school supplies to eligible families this year.
Eligibility is based on household income not exceeding 125% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
The school supplies for children grades Pre-K to 12 will assist families in making sure their children have the required and necessary supplies for the 2012 -2013 school year.
NEK-CAP will be accepting applications July 20th & 23rd from 9:00am to 3:00pm; pre-registration is mandatory.
The distribution will be held on August 3rd.
Families who have school aged children attending schools in Brown County and believe they may be income eligible need to bring documentation verifying at least the past three months proof of income for all household members.

The school supply distribution program is made possible by community contributions. Donations are still being accepted. Anyone interesting in donating to this program should contact the local office.
Any remaining funds received through donations will remain in the NEK-CAP Brown County account to be used to assist with direct services such as rent and utility assistance to those in need.
All donations remain in Brown County and are tax deductible
