The Southeast Nebraska Baseball Conference Junior Tournament opened Tuesday in Auburn.
Falls City advanced in the winner’s bracket with a 13-6 victory over Tecumseh. Falls City broke the game open with six runs in the 4th inning. The game was tied at 4-all heading into the inning, but Falls City scored six runs on four hits and four Tecumseh errors. Falls City added three more runs in the 5th inning.
Logan Scheitel was the winning pitcher. Josh Crane took the loss for Tecumseh. He came on in relief of starter Andrew Belding to start the 4th inning.
The SENBC Senior Tournament begins today, with games at Nebraska City and Syracuse.
Southern Division teams play at Nebraska City. Falls City plays Tecumseh at 5:30 and Nebraska City takes on Auburn at 7:30.
