The Humboldt – Table Rock – Steinauer School Board approved salaries for non-certified staff and Superintendent Clint Kimbrough when they met Monday. ( play audio :13 seconds )
Superintendent Kimbrough said the increase will put his annual salary at just over $100,000.
In other action the HTRS Board accepted two resignations. ( play audio :16 seconds )
The Board also approved what they believe will be the final new hires for the 2012-13 school year. ( play audio :22 seconds )
Lunch and breakfast prices were increased by 10-cents per meal for the upcoming school year. For grades Pre school through 3rd at $2.20; grades 4 – 8th at $2.55; grades 9 – 12 $2.60 and the price for adult meals will be $3.30.
HTRS students and teachers will be working with new language arts materials next year. Superintendent Kimbrough says this is the most expensive area of study to upgrade. ( play audio :26 seconds )
Superintendent Kimbrough updated the Board on summer projects as well as the new press box – concession stand building under construction at Power Field. He also updated the Board on the Blecha property north of Power Field the school district has agreed to purchase. There are some legal issues still to be worked out concerning the property.
