A 34-year-old Saint Joseph man will head to prison for taking a vehicle from Atchison last fall.
Scott Parker was sentenced to a year in prison Monday in Atchison County District Court.
Parker was arrested by Atchison Police in March on a warrant stemming from an October 5th theft of a motor vehicle in the 600 block of North 3rd.
They were able to recover the vehicle days later.
Another man believed to be involved in the theft, James Bonar,is currently in Buchanan County Jail on other charges, awaiting extradition to Atchison County.
