The Humboldt City Council will meet at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the City Clerk’s Office.
The Auditorium windows will again be a topic of discussion for the council. They are set to reconsider a payment made to Jim Hill’s for payment on the windows. The council approved a payment of $1,744 for the windows at its last meeting.
The Auditorium Board has asked, and the council will consider, paying 90-percent of the cost of the windows. The Auditorium Board has received a grant to pay for the windows, but the grant funds have not yet been received.
Also this week, the Humboldt Council will consider approving two building permits. One of the permits is from the HTRS School District for construction of a new press box-concession stand at Power Field.
A couple other requests will also be considered. Humboldt Motor Sports is requesting permission from the city to use the airport for a lawn mower pull on June 17th, and the Lions Club is requesting permission to use Lake Park for the fishing contest on June 9th.
