The Humboldt – Table Rock – Steinauer School Board approved a number of expenditures, new hires and resignations when they met Monday evening.

Kindergarten teacher Nicole Dunn resigned to accept a position in Auburn and Nancy Schulenberg who started with the Humboldt District more than 30 years ago as a math teacher has decided to retire.
One of the expenditures approved was approximately $118,000 for a new building to house the restrooms, concession stand, press box and serve as a storage building at Power Field in Humboldt. ( play audio :35 seconds )

The HTRS School Board approved more than $20,000 to be spent on the technology Module Lab at the Table Rock site to bring it up to date. ( play audio :11 seconds )
As part of the spring requisitions the Board approved the purchase of new language arts curriculum text books.
Due to the large amount of expenditures, the HTRS Board decided to put the purchase of a new school bus on hold this year. ( play audio :16 seconds )
In other action the Board approved the High School Handbooks, and discussed summer maintenance projects, which will include a new women’s restroom at the Table Rock site. No action was taken concerning classes that count toward the students grade point average.
