A third candidate has filed for the position of 2nd District Jackson County Commissioner.
Harold Kennedy, a Holton Democrat, is the latest candidate to file for the position.
Kennedy joins Republicans Ryan Shaw and Doug Fisher in seeking the seat currently held by Roger Coverdale.
Kennedy, who served two terms on the Holton City Commission, ran unsuccessfully for the county commission seat in 2008.
Candidates have until noon, June 1st to file.
