HTRS Principal Wins Award

 Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer School District Principal Laurie Kimbrough has earned recognition from a statewide organization.  Kimbrough was given the Outstanding Principal Award at the annual Nebraska Rural Community Schools Association convention, on March 23rd. 
 The organization gives awards for outstanding elementary teacher, secondary teacher, music teacher, principal, superintendent, and school board member.
 Kimbrough has been Principal in the HTRS School District since 2001, and was elementary principal in Bedford, Iowa, for 12 years before moving to Humboldt.
 She began her teaching career in Geneva, Nebraska, where she was first grade teacher and track coach from 1977 through 1989.
 Mrs. Kimbrough will be retiring from the HTRS School District at the end of the current school year.
