Two Nemaha Co Crashes Leave Drivers Injured

Details are released following a Friday night Nemaha County crash that left a teenager injured.
According to the Nemaha County Sheriff's Department, 17-year-old Samuel Meyer of Bern was southbound on Q road, just north of 184th Road, when he left the roadway.
His Jeep Liberty then collided with a tree, then struck an embankment, with the impact causing the vehicle to roll over.
Meyer was injured and transported to the Sabetha Community Hospital for treatment.
The crash happened shortly after 11:00 Friday night.

Earlier in the day, the Sheriff's Department responded to another crash, this one involving a driver from Lincoln, Nebraska.
It happened shortly before 1:30 Friday afternoon when 25-year-old Neil Rutledge was eastbound on 184th road, around 2000 feet east of B Road when his car left the roadway and overturned.
Rutledge was transported to the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
