Voters will go to the polls Tuesday in Hiawatha, Holton and Horton.
In Hiawatha, Mayor Crosby Gernon is being challenged by Eric Clary in his bid for re-election to a third term. Gernon has served as mayor since 2006.
In Holton, Tim Morris is running unopposed in his bid for re-election to a second term on the city commission.
In Horton, Wade Edwards is running unopposed his bid to continue serving as commissioner of streets and utilities.
In Hiawatha, voters will cast ballots at the Fisher Center; in Holton, at the Jackson County Fair building; and in Horton, at the Blue Building.
The polls will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Beginning this year, every voter must show a photo ID when voting, and here's what you need to know when going to the polls:
