Select Holton homeowners could benefit through a grant, amounting to thousands of dollars, recently awarded to the city.
City Manager Bret Bauer says use of the funds remains undecided, with homeowners to eventually apply for possible selection(Play Audio :18 seconds)
Bauer says the grant will be a key focus when the Holton City Commission meets next month, with a public hearing on the matter now set for that session(Play Audio :20 seconds)
Bauer says it's his understanding there are no specified qualifications homeowners need to meet. Instead, they will simply fill out the required application for possible acceptance.
The future selection process will be jointly conducted by the grant administrator for the funds and the City Commission.
