USD 377’s school board will have a special meeting to consider a proposal to buy the old central office Thursday evening.
It will take place at 6:30 in the administrative building in Effingham.
The old central office is currently the temporary home of pre-school students after they were forced from their building over Christmas break when mold was discovered.
The old central office was on the market before that, but was taken off when the students were moved there.
