The Hiawatha High School Band is set to show-off their skills locally, before taking their sound to Chicago, where they will perform in the Saint Patrick's Day parade(Play Audio :09 seconds)
That's Band Director Damian Johnson, who says the band will hold a Dress Rehearsal Thursday afternoon, beginning at 12:20, in the high school circle drive.
The public is invited to bring their lunch, and watch the final performance, of the band, before they depart to take part in one of the most celebrated Saint Pat's Day parades in the nation.
Spectators may park in the high school or middle school parking lots.
The 70 band members are set to depart from Hiawatha on March 14th, with two charter buses to take them to their destination in Chicago, enjoying attractions in the Windy City prior to their parade performance on March 17th.
The band members will return to Hiawatha the next day.
