Hoyt Man Files For County Commission

A Hoyt man has filed for the Jackson County Commission seat he previously held for eight years.
58-year-old Brad Hamilton, a Republican, filed today ( Tuesday) for 3rd District commissioner.
Hamilton held the position from 2000-2008.  He chose not to run for re-election in 2008.
The seat is currently held by Larry Fenske.
Hamilton is currently a substitute teacher at Royal Valley USD 337 and an independent recording artist and western entertainer.
He is the first candidate to file for the position.
Candidates have until noon, June 1st to file.
