MARYSVILLE, Kan. (AP)  A Marysville woman has been sentenced to nearly 15 years in prison in the death of her husband.

Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt said 25-year-old Amanda Baynton was sentenced Tuesday for second-degree intentional murder and aggravated assault.

Baynton pleaded no contest to the charges in January in the June 2011 death of her husband, 24-year-old Derek Bjorn Baynton.
