The Benedictine Ravens saw their 2011-12 basketball season come to an end Wednesday night in Baldwin City as they lost to Baker University 55-41 in the HAAC Tournament.
Baker (20-10), playing their first home playoff game in over a decade, came from behind in the second half taking a lead with just over 7 minutes left in the game with an 11-0 run. The Ravens (15-15) had a strong game on defense allowing only 20 first half points, but shooting woes hampered their chance at a second win over the Wildcats this season.
BC was led by Alex Miller and Tony Anderson, two of the six seniors who concluded their college careers. Miller scored 11, which pushed him to over 1000 points as a Raven.
The Lady Ravens will take their first step into post-season Thursday night hosting Evangel University. The game will be heard on KAIR with tipoff set for 7:00 in the Ralph Nolan Gym.
