Topeka Man Arrested For Jackson Co Burglary

The Jackson County Sheriff's Department puts the wraps on a recent burglary, following the execution of a search warrant, leading to one
arrest, in connection with the crime.
According to Sheriff Tim Morse, someone made their way into a home at 104 West 1st Street, in the City of Hoyt, on January 11th, making off with two laptops, a Wii gaming system, including 24 games and controls, medication, vehicle keys , a camera and tools.
The crime happened sometime between 8:00 in the morning and 6:00 that evening.
The investigation was launched, and that led Sherriff's investigators to a Topeka residence the next day. 
It was there, at in the Coach Light Village Trailer Park, that the search warrant was executed, with the assistance of Shawnee County Sheriff's deputies and detectives, leading to the arrest of 34-year-old Steven Michael Sandgren, of Topeka.
The alleged burglar was taken into custody on charges of residential burglary and felony theft.
Bond is set at 25-hundred-dollars.
