The Kansas Water Office’s (KWO) Missouri Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) will meet to discuss current water issues affecting the region, as well as the state.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 21, at 9 a.m., in the USD 409 Community Meeting Room, 626 Commercial in Atchison, Kansas. The agenda has several items on it including updates from tribal representatives on water issues they are facing and the Nature Conservancy (TNC) and Pheasants Forever. The RAC will also have a presentation from the Kansas Geological Survey on the progress of Phase II, Groundwater Quality and Quantity study.
