The Kansas Water Office’s (KWO) Missouri Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) is set to meet to discuss current water issues affecting the region, as well as the state.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 16, at 9 a.m., in the WaterOne Boardroom, 10747 Renner Blvd. in Lenexa, Kansas. The committee will receive updates on activities taking place to implement the Action Plans for the region that were adopted by the Kansas Water Authority, including a presentation on extreme weather events by Scott Watson from NOAA. The RAC will also be working on the State Of The Resource document with an expected public meeting later this fall.
