The Nemaha County Conservation District is again offering contests to all elementary and middle school students in the county.  The contests are Poster (K-8); and Limerick (3-8);

Each student who enters receives a participation prize at the end of the school year. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 5 honorable mentions from each age group will receive a T-Shirt that will be presented at the annual meeting in February 2018.  Teachers have received information and rules for the contests.  New this year---We will supply the Paper! The District doesn’t want any added cost to the schools  or teachers, so this year we have plenty of paper that the teachers can request!

This year’s theme is “Healthy Soils are Full of Life!”.

The deadline for the contests is September 29, 2017 so start your entries now!  Contest entries can be delivered to our office at 411 North Street Seneca Kansas.
