(KLZA)--Damage to a Falls City church is estimated at $4,000 after a pickup truck collided with the building Friday morning.
According to the Falls City Police report, Colton Hayworth parked his pickup in a driveway at 2305 Towle Street, leaving the engine running. Hayworth exited the pickup and entered the home.
The report indicates the pickup’s transmission slipped from park into reverse and the pickup rolled out of the driveway across Towle Street, through the parking lot of the Jehovah’s Witness Church and struck the church building causing significant damage to the structure.
No injuries were reported.
