(KNZA)--A Holton man has pleaded not guilty to sex-related charges in six separate cases.
21-year-old Jacob Ewing entered the plea Thursday in a Jackson County courtroom to 19 charges.
Jury trials in the cases were set for next year, beginning in March.
That came following the conclusion of a preliminary hearing in the sixth case against him where a judge found probable cause to bind Ewing over for trial on one count each aggravated criminal sodomy and aggravated indecent liberties with a child.
The Topeka Capital Journal reports a teenage girl testified that Ewing took her to a cemetery near Holton during an evening in March 2014. The girl said Ewing ordered her out of the car, and then allegedly sexually assaulted her.
The girl, who had made initial contact with Ewing through social media, was 13-years-old at the time.
