Power Outage in Brown County

(KNZA)--A downed power line is blamed for a power outage Thursday morning in northern Brown County.

That word from Westar Energy spokeswoman Gina Penzig.

Penzig says the about 25-hundred customers were affected by the outage reported around 8:00--including those in Hiawatha.

Service was restored to most customers by 10:00.
