(KNZA)--A Gladstone, Missouri woman is facing charges after the alleged discovery of drugs by the Brown County Sheriff’s Department’s new drug-sniffing dog.
Brown County Sheriff John Merchant says the Kickapoo Tribal Police Department requested the use of the county’s K-9 on Friday, which called attention to a vehicle on the Kickapoo Reservation, belonging to 25-year-old Ashle Walker.
Merchant says Walker was arrested by the Kickapoo Police Department on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to distribute, disorderly conduct, bribery and interference with law enforcement. She was booked into the Brown County Jail, where she remained in custody Monday.
