(KAIR)--Guilty.
That’s the plea from the Atchison County man facing child sex charges.
59-year-old William Huckaby entered his plea in Atchison County District Court Monday. He’ll hear his sentence Oct. 31.
Huckaby faces two counts of indecent liberties with a child under the age of 14. The charges stem from crimes that took place between Jan 1, 2012 and Dec. 31, 2013 with a 7-9-years-old victim, according to a report from Atchison County Sheriff Jack Laurie.
Laurie said his office was informed of the crimes on Aug. 14. Huckaby turned himself into the sheriff’s office Aug. 15 and was arrested on the charges.
He remains in the Atchison County Jail held on a $75,000 bond.
