(KNZA)--A portion of K-20 Highway in Doniphan County will be closed Monday, August 29th for a drainage tube replacement project under the roadway, weather allowing.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says the highway will be closed to eastbound and westbound traffic just west of the Purcell city limits between 8:00 in the morning until 3:00 in the afternoon.
KDOT says there will be no marked detour routes. Drivers should expect delays and must use alternate routes during the daylong lane closure.
The project had originally been planned for Thursday, but was rescheduled due to the weather.
