Be Watchful for Motorcycles
08/12/2016

(KLZA)-- Use extra caution.

That comes from the Nebraska Department of Roads and the Nebraska State Patrol as they say the end of the summer raises the potential for increased motorcycle traffic.

In a press release, the NDOR says 13 deaths have already occurred in 2016 in motorcycle related crashes.

Nebraska State Patrol Superintendent Colonel Brad Rice cited the uptick in biker events, such as the annual Sturgis Rally that cause increased motorcycle traffic.

The agencies urge caution from both motorists and motorcyclists to ensure safe travel.
