(KNZA)--Life in prison.
That’s the sentence handed down in Doniphan County District court to the Atchison man found guilty of eight sex-related charges.
Heath Umphenhour was sentenced to one count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, one count of aggravated criminal sodomy and two counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
He’ll also serve 34 months each for two counts of sexual exploitation of a child. Lastly, he’ll serve nine months each on two breech of privacy charges.
Umphenhour will also have to register as a sex-offender for life and have supervised probation for life.
He’ll be eligible for parole in just under 30 years.
Umphenhour was found guilty in May in Doniphan County District Court on charges stemming from offenses involving three girls under the age of 14 at the time that occurred between March 2011 and November 2013.
An investigation by the Doniphan County Sheriff Department and the KBI followed the July 2013 arrest.
