(KNZA)--A Topeka man was killed Monday morning in a single-vehicle wreck on U.S 75 Highway, north of Topeka.

The Kansas Highway Patrol says 24-year-old William Jay Fisher Fondren was northbound when his car left the roadway.  Fondren overcorrected, causing his vehicle to cross the median and both southbound lanes, where it rolled several times.

Fondren, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck was reported at 9:40.
