(KAIR)--The discovery of a stolen Andrew County, Missouri pick-up truck leads to two Atchison arrests in connection with the theft of a Lancaster pick-up.
It happened Tuesday night shortly after 9 o’clock in the 1200 block of North 4th Street in Atchison.
It was there, that Atchison County Sherriff deputies located the stolen Missouri vehicle complete with a license tag earlier stolen from the city of Atchison.
Investigators obtained a search warrant for an apartment at that location when it was learned that a wanted woman was inside.
Taken into custody was 28-year-old Sheena Kley of Amazonia, Missouri along with 35-year-old Christopher Blanchard of Rushville.
Both were wanted on Atchison County District Court warrants for felony theft in connection with the June 26th theft of a pick-up truck in Lancaster.
That truck was recovered July 10th in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Both Kley and Blanchard were taken to the Atchison County Jail following their arrests.
They face additional charges for the stolen license plate.
