(KLZA)-- The Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer School District contacted five other area school districts to discuss a possible softball co-op. The word was no from Pawnee City, Johnson-Brock, Auburn and Falls City.
The Johnson County Central Board met after the HTRS Board meeting but since JCC dropped softball as a sport this year, another negative response is anticipated.
Superintendent Sherri Edmundson said the district has learned that its possible for three school districts to co-op in softball so they will continue to seek partners.
