(KLZA)-- During the Nebraska Association of County Officials annual conference in Kearney, held December 9th thru 11th, the Goodwill Committee of the County Clerk, Election Commissioners and Register of Deeds conducted a ‘sock’ drive.
Over 5,500 pair of socks were donated by employees and members of the communities. Donated socks were distributed to the four Veterans homes in Nebraska, the Victory Apartments in Omaha and homeless shelters throughout Nebraska.
Nemaha County Clerk, Joyce Oakley is Chairman of the Goodwill Committee.
