(KAIR)--Two arrests are made following the execution of a search warrant in Holton Thursday evening.
Jackson County Sheriff Tim Morse says it happened around 6:00, with his office working in conjunction with the Holton Police Department, serving the warrant at 620 Ohio Street.
Taken into custody at the scene were 24-year-old Mathue Mapes and 26-year-old Carrie Garrison, both of Holton.
Morse says the arrests follow an investigation by the Sheriff's Office focused on the alleged distribution of illegal drugs.
Mapes was booked into the Jackson County Jail on charges including distribution of marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Garrison was booked into the jail on charges including possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and two counts of endangering a child.
Bond was set at $10,000 each.
