(KAIR)--A burglary and theft at an Atchison home means missing items, including two guns, valued at around $1,400.
Atchison Police Lieutenant Tim Stout says resident Pamela George made the report of the crime on Tuesday, and believes it happened sometime between December 6th and December 16th.
Stout tells MSC News items stolen from the home include, “a Smith and Wesson .38 Special Revolver, a Marlin semi-automatic .22 rifle, a leather jacket and leather chaps, and some miscellaneous items.”
Stout says forced entry was not made into the home, located in the 1300 Block of Maple Street.
He says there are currently no suspects, and the investigation is ongoing.
Anyone with information pertaining to the case should notify Atchison Police.
