Richardson County Deputy Seeks Back Pay

(KLZA)-- Richardson County Deputy Sheriff Lewis Barker presented a statement to Richardson County Commissioners Tuesday requesting back pay for time he spent maintaining and caring for the Richardson County K-9, Wiley at his residence from April 12, 2012 through December 31, 2014.

The statement claims just over 515 hours and seeks back pay of $14,309.73.  No action was taken by Commissioners.

Barker has submitted a letter of resignation as a Richardson County Deputy Sheriff. His last day will be December 19th.
